Health and Safety Training Program

Introduction:

Training is one of the most important components with the company's safety management system going on. It has an advantage on all employees with an opportunity to gain different learning styles from the jobs well, elaborate on new ideas into the workplace, reinforce existing ideas and health and safety practices, and put our Safety and Health Program into action if any changes need to be done let the supervisor know right away. All the staff in our company will benefit from safety and health training to avoid major injuries and illnesses, reduced internal stress, and higher employee morale. The higher productivity, profitability referring to return on investment, and competitiveness in the labour markets will increase as production costs per unit, turnover, and workers compensation rates will be lower also make the company successful.

The measurable training objectives:

To educate everyone on the natural and system risks of actions.To educate the managers, supervisors and employees on safety management system responsibilities.To educate all employees on work hazards and control measures in the workplace.Provide training on all employees on hazard identification, analysis, reporting and control of health and safety procedures.Have all employees participated in health and safety policies (Saks & Haccoun, 2018, Module 4).

Choose the Trainer:

The trainers will be the health and safety committee or supervisors who are educated on the health and safety process, will constantly evaluate the safety accountability system. The supervisor will make sure the trainees are engaging with the health and safety activities, relevant to a working environment and meaningful to the learners (Saks & Haccoun, 2018, Module 7).

The trainees who should attend the program:

The staff because spend 40 hours with the company and organizational awareness around issues tend to be quicker and intensive. Organizations have more control of staff's work schedule, more leadership and more training sessions. The staff focuses on the daily process for the organization.Staff members implement programs and policies so training needs can be formed.The training methods to be used in the program. One significant training method for my health and safety training program is discussion because of having a two-way communication between the trainer and trainee as well as the trainees.Trainees to participate also make recommendations to changes that can be changed in the program or policy. Trainees can make directive questions to ask the trainer to form a strong conversation (Saks & Haccoun, 2018, Module 5).Case Incident is another training method for my health and safety training program because no more than one page just focusing on health and safety procedures for the trainees to go over the procedures also have the chance to analyze the scenarios. This training method gives a real-world element.

Health and Safety Training Program Role plays is an excellent training method because it is practical and focuses on applying new skills and build new knowledge. It tests well what health and safety procedures you know or need to improve on with no negative consequences.Action Learning is the best training method for my health and safety program because gets the trainees involved in their learning. Trainees develop skills through project work where they are responsible, real-world, complex and issues that need to be changed in the workplace.

The required training materials and equipment:

There will be a safety in the workplace course that will be instrumental in looking over the common hazards, safety strategies after the competition, the participants will have tools to guide on implementing a health and safety policy for the workplace. It will help identify and understand work hazards, keep the employers from preventing any major injuries and have a safe working environment.

The training site to be used for the program:

The training site will be the Worksite Safety Compliance Centre it is simple, accommodative and accessible for occupational health and safety materials. Easy to use for online learning and whole staff can be trained.
